here are a couple of bikes for sale via the knife edge crew... the first is a vintage hawthorne that has been customized. and yes it comes with a new chain. at the time of the picture it was left unattached, but no worries it has one... the second is a customized vintage amf lighting. it's been powder coated, and the head badge in the picture has been removed. both bike ride very well and are eye catchers. you know you want one. if interested then contact us through the myspace or at this email: knifesedgebikes@yahoo.com

knife's edge now provides free towing service
My bike chain broke in Crown Hill Cemetery so Hutch and I devised a very sophisticated means of towing myself and my bike involving two bike locks connected; one attatched to the stem of my bike and the other end attatched to the sissy bar of Hutch's bike. Slow riding but worked out pretty well. No Knife's Edge bicycle ride is complete unless someone wrecks , vomits or loses a chain.

awesome score
Mark, Liz and I hummed the theme to Sanford & Son as we drove back to my house after filling the back of Mark's truck with an assortment of rusty bikes and NOS (new old stock) Wald baskets. Best of all these bikes were basically free since I got them in trade for some 1980's ten speeds that I found on the curb in my neighborhood. Needless to say my favorite bike in this lot is the Huffy Custom Liner from the mid 50's, although I'm rather fond of the Western Flyer. Today I threw some apes on the Western Flyer, one of the NOS Wald Baskets and a different seat. Maybe this weekend I'll practice my pinstriping on the fenders. Damn, I just cleaned my garage and now it looks ten times crazier than before.

thanks to all those that stopped by our booth at the indieana handicraft exchange. we were glad to get out and talk to people about our bikes and bikes in general. thanks, also, for checkin' out jerry lee's western wear and keepin' it so real when comes to hand-tailored clothes... stay tuned for some updated pictures of our latest creations. we have some other ideas we're hoping to roll with very soon, so stop by often to see what's up with us. fall is a great time to get out in ride... crisp air, changing colors, and a new bike makes that even better... be on the lookout for our custom knife's edge messenger bags and bicycle bags... you know you want one, so hit us up... you need a custom saddle... well give us a shout... and for all you bmx heads... we'll even hook up those essential frame and stem pads for you... get off your ass and ride, and say what's up if you see us rollin' around...
