early heads up on an upcoming article on the knife's edge crew appearing in indy.com magazine the week before the indieana handicraft show... hell, there may even be some video of us actin' like fools on bikes. too bad we didn't ride any of the wheelie bikes...
things are movin' right along with the knife's edge crew. we have several bikes in the works, and all of them offer something different... we'll snap some pictures when they're finished. a little paint in the 'ol sinus cavity never hurt anyone nor does a little grease and grime from forty year old bikes coming back to life. my man jet one says it best, "paint in my sinus and it burns when i swallow..." something like that...
we're down with 90's hardcore and punk rock... los crudos anyone...? we rep that ish...

Swiss Army bike

I remember seeing a Swiss Army bike several years ago at Brooke's Army Navy Store here in Indianapolis. It was one of the coolest bikes I'd ever seen. It was also one of the most expensive, at about $900! This month I decided to make my own version. I used an old Murray road bike as a basis for this project. I painted the frame green, made a custom frame bag from an old Italian Army jacket that I bought at a garage sale a couple of years ago, and I recovered a very vintage saddle with camoflauge fabric. There are several things I still need to do, but so far it's looking good.
